Providence Montessori Christian School is a private nondenominational Montessori school committed to academic excellence. We are the first Christian Montessori School in Richmond. Did you know there are over 200 volcanoes in South America?  Students constructed a volcano, painted it, and then watched it explode for a lesson in South American studies and science.
In addition students experienced a pinata, tasted South American delicacies like quinoa and star fruit, and sculpted works of art like artist Gaughin, who although French, spent his early years in Peru.
Another lesson included the different names of God.  Some of the names students came up with included rock, water, the Good Shepherd, the Word, and love.
